“All of us want fame, money, and our name up in lights.” Sarah Adams, Headlines.

“All of us want fame, money, and our name up in lights.” Sarah Adams, Headlines.

I chose a quote from Sarah Adams’, “Headline” blog. “All of us want fame, money, and our name up in lights.”
I chose this because it has the ability create loads of ideas and debatable arguments. This quote in my opinion
shows a lot more about Sarah than what the quote is actually addressing. Breaking the quote down into pieces
you discover that it is untrue and a rather weak statement. Not all of “us” want fame. Some may rather have
their dreams come in a different form of success, whether it is marriage, having a child, or a steady job. Not every
one is wrapped up being famous, popular, and glamorization. Especially the Amish. The Amish are a group of Christian
church followers. The Amish are known for simple living, basic dressing, and a lacking ambition to adopt technology.
Having children, raising them, and socialization with neighbors and relatives are the greatest functions of the Amish family.
All Amish believe large families are a blessing from God. Using the term “Us” makes this a very broad statement.
The Amish are a prime example of why this quote is not very true and is vulnerabele to critisism.
